During the registration period (6th to 13th November 2023) a hotline will be available to citizens from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The hotline can be reached from abroad on +43 1 53126 2700. A tape service is available outside of the hotline's operating hours.
Please note: People who have already submitted a declaration of support for a referendum can no longer make an entry for this referendum, as a declaration of support that has already been made is already considered a valid entry!
Austrian citizens who are registered in the voter register of an Austrian municipality (including Austrians living abroad) can submit declarations of support for the referendums mentioned above. Submitting a declaration of support is possible in every Austrian municipality during their official hours (party traffic times) or online (using “mobile phone signature” or “ID Austria”).
Voters who are unable to visit a registration location during the registration period due to a lack of walking or transport ability or being bedridden, whether due to illness, age or other reasons, can, upon request, be visited by a “mobile registration authority” in order to carry out the registration to do. If necessary, please contact the municipality in which you would like the “mobile registration authority” to visit. The municipality will set a time with you within the registration period at which you will be visited.
Note: You can sign at a registration office throughout Austria.

However, all municipalities in Austria must be open Monday to Friday at least from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
